This project perfectly illustrates the evolution of a home-build, starting from the Client's sketch on a piece of paper, to generating a functional layout, and then working through refinements of the exterior aesthetic through a series of renderings, allowing us to capture the Client's goals and realize their vision through an efficient construction process.

The John Prince Research Forest Learning Center

Built for stewardship, made for the future

This new facility, currently under construction, will replace aging infrastructure and expand support for education, research, and forestry. The build includes education spaces, a boardroom, offices, accommodation, and a modern commercial kitchen.


Shaped by years of vision and careful coordination, the project targets high-performance, energy-efficient standards aligned with environmental stewardship values. Its remote, off-grid location and cold climate have guided key design decisions. Construction has progressed steadily over recent seasons, with the organization looking forward to bringing the facility into service for generations to come.
